Make ease your default state of being
and I am enough
your belief system
Is this familiar?
People often trigger you.
You’re plagued by thoughts about how bad things are.
How bad you are.
And much of the time, life just feels like a lot.

The weird thing is, you know there’s magic inside of you.
You know that life is filled with possibility.
But there are also those painful and very convincing stories that keep you…
feeling like you’re not enough
worried about almost everything
and deeply unsatisfied with the way things are
At times, you couldn’t feel further away from the ‘magic’ inside of you.
It’s ok.
How you feel is ok.
Just don’t pitch a tent there and call it your whole life.
Because there is a way back to the magic.
Imagine…
Accepting yourself fully.
Being masterful at coming back to centre when challenges arise.
Feeling deeply connected to the beauty of life around you.
Letting the light of your being become amplified, instead of dimmed.
This is my mission.
to help you release the fake news, and feel the light of truth.
Through my personal & professional exploration over the years, I’ve come to approach this in a specific way. Using what I have found to be the most powerful tools for self-expansion; meditation, mindfulness & journaling.
Skill-building is essential, so I guide my clients through something I call
The Soft Way*
* a skills-based a path to inner peace, resilience & self-trust that helps you live more of life as The Real You.

How My Journey Began
A Brief History of Me!
I was born in London in the late eighties, the youngest of five children. My mum, Esterlita - a vibrant, generous and ambitious woman (who I will write about one day!) - raised us on her own.
I was always self-conscious as a child. New places and people would cause me to shrink. To a degree, this is just my nature. I’m more introverted, and I’m a highly sensitive person. But I withdrew even further into myself after starting secondary school.
Suddenly, instead of free-spirited fun in the playground, I witnessed fights and bullying. I felt like I didn’t fit in, and I certainly wasn’t respected.
Around the same time, there were incidents of domestic violence at home. So over the next five years, I felt increasingly anxious and uncomfortable in my own skin. The world, in my view, was a harsh place, and it didn’t seem like I was strong enough or good enough for it.
Then, as I was about to turn 18, my mum committed suicide, and the whole world turned from grey to black. She was just 44. It was a surprise, in that she was so full of life and loved by many. But it also wasn’t a surprise, given her highly traumatic childhood.
I suddenly found myself thrust into adulthood, motherless and drowning in grief. Life seemed so unfair; I completely lost my faith in God.
And I lost so much weight that my periods stopped.
Thankfully, a few months later, my extended family in Australia invited me to stay with them. I went gladly. I got a job, ate myself back to a healthy weight, and learnt about the Law of Attraction. I also met my first love. We moved back to London and spent the next nine years together.
During that time, things seemed ok on the outside. Good partner. Nice flat. Studying nutrition at a top university. But I frequently felt anxious, dissatisfied and out of place.
All I could see was what was missing.
No time.
No confidence.
No mum.
No God.
Navigating the outside world felt exhausting, too. Social situations induced anxiety. Minor criticisms would trigger me. And I constantly compared myself to others.
On the journey to work, I felt dread. Pretending I didn’t detest the world and myself took a lot of effort.
But despite the darkness of my inner world, a part of me knew that something more was available. I could sense a void that the usual distractions (wine) couldn’t fill. I wanted to connect with life in a softer, deeper, and more grounded way. I just didn’t know how to do that.
Then, on one particularly desperate day in my early twenties, I found myself typing ‘how to be happy’ into Google. The search led me to a book about Buddhism and mindfulness, which I swiftly downloaded onto my Kindle.
Cue, glorious crack of light.
Wait, there’s space between my dark thoughts?
Something came alive. I started practising meditation daily, attending my local Shambhala centre, and kept reading about Buddhism. My ‘not enough’ program was still lingering, but another part of me was slowly budding.
→ I was learning to work with my emotions rather than fighting against them.
→ I was learning to let go of storylines that caused pain instead of feeding them.
→ I was learning to be a friend to myself instead of constantly judging myself.
Nature became a delight. Silence was no longer uncomfortable. And as I found a sanctuary within myself, the world outside started to become more bearable.
This was the very beginning of me taking my power back. There was suddenly hope. And many years since then, my knowledge, practice, and inner freedom have expanded quite a bit.
Now…

There is space to choose my reactions.
I care far less about other people’s opinions of me.
I’m a loving friend to my imperfect self.
And I know without a doubt that life loves me.
Life still has it’s challenges…
But when you make reclaiming your energy a daily practice, the hard stuff doesn’t cut quite so deep or for as long.
And you find increasingly more reasons to delight in your existence.
Life is not for being hard on ourselves, nor for merely getting through the day. Life is for learning, playing and LOVING being you. It’s time to let go of unnecessary suffering.
